Pat Horton
Pat plays the Bass and sings Lead and Backup vocals, and is also the manager, recording engineer, and web master for the band. In his own words, he has "been a musician for longer than he can remember". He started playing harmonica at 4, accordian at 5, played drums, trumpet, and trombone in elementary school, then baritone, french horn, and classical guitar in high school. He also picked up the Sax and Flute somewhere along the way ! He got his first bass guitar in high school, and has and plays a variety of electric and acoustic basses. Pat has been in several bands around San Diego, including Mars Hotel, DeadEnuf, Peter Padua and Friends, the BuddhaPests, and the Fluids, and has written, performed, and produced several solo CDs, as well as performing on and engineering a number of other CD's. Pat recently retired from his career as a Software Engineer to pursue music full-time. |

Don Musial
Don plays Rhythm and Lead guitar and sings Lead and Backup vocals for the band.  He was originally born in Wisconsin but his family moved all over the U.S. and finally settled in Spring Valley, CA in 1959, a quiet suburb of San Diego where, as a kid Don picked up his first guitar and started the musical journey that has lasted 42 years so far.  He's played in various groups including the popular band Group Therapy (from 1992 to 1998), an all original band called Flyte, No Guarantee, and the well known Grateful Dead cover band Born Cross-Eyed.  Don has a great sense of humor and demonstrates compassion and kindness in everything he does. Among other things, he's a well known graphic artist, and won the 1999 Peacemaker Award for his humanitarian efforts.  |

Jim Sallis
Jim is a multi-faceted drummer and percussionist. He's been playing drums in rock and roll bands since the age of 13 and brings a vast amount of musical experience to the band. He's played with various local bands including Smokey Bear's Hot Bowl of Soup, the Dead Tongues, and Group Therapy. In his day job he is a professor at San Diego State University where he delves into the human psyche and our interactions as social beings. He is also an internationally known exercise researcher who, among other things, contributed to the Surgeon General’s Report on Physical Activity and Health. However it is his lifelong commitment to the rythmn and harmony of the universe, which can be felt in every beat of the grooves he lays down, that you'll appreciate most when you hear him play. |

Pat Kingsland
PK is another drummer for Forgotten Space. He plays when Jim can't make it, or when both are available they play together to provide a huge "double drum" sound for the band. PK has played drums for over 35 years, and currently plays regularly with other bands around San Diego, including Theo and the Zydeco Blues Patrol and Blue Faro (formerly known as SwingShift) as well as with Forgotten Space. His first gig was with his uncle's jazz band when he was 12. In Jr. High and High school, he played in the stage band and orchestra. After graduating from High School, he moved to Lubbock, Texas and played a while in that area. Then in '74, he and a bass player moved to Carson City, Nev. and played the Casino circuit in Reno and South Lake Tahoe. He has lived in San Diego for the last 20 years, and has played with many local bands, including locally renowned bands like Spectrum, Budda Pests, and the Blue Louvres, among others. |
